The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and courteous. They were very upfront about answering all of our questions and at no time did we feel pressured. The salesman even personally came to pick me up when the car was ready. It was a pleasure to buy our new car through Subaru Calgary.

Great place to buy a car. I went to both Subaru Calgary and "Another Dealership"** looking for a new Forester for my wife and I, and Subaru Calgary is head and shoulders a better place to buy a car. The guy at "Another Dealership"** wouldn't even let me drive the car unless I was "serious". This turned me off, so I went to Subaru Calgary and saw Drew. He has a great attitude and really knows his stuff. He made the whole experience great and I will definitely be telling anyone looking for a Subaru to go see him! 10 / 10

on behalf of Subaru Calgary. I have dealt with them for the past 10 years and have bought 3 new Subaru's from them during this time and they have ALWAYS provided excellent servce. It is because of this service that I have referred many friends to go there when shopping for a new or used Subaru and they have never had an issue. I wouldn't normally bother with leaving a review but when people decide to post extremely vague ramblings about "alleged" dealings, it makes me angry. It always seems that businesses always hear from the upset or angry customers, and I just want everyone to know that I am an extremely happy customer. Keep up the great work Subaru Calgary! Great Service again. Took my Subie in again for service, and contrary to someone elses belief, my service advisor (Jay Lynn) was still there, my saleman (Dale) was still there, and pretty much everyone else was there. Service shuttle dropped me off at work and picked me up at the end of day, and my car was ready with a complimentary wash. That sounds like terrible service doesn't it?? Again, I've been dealing with them for 10 years and granted there has been some turnover during that span, the service has always been great. Thanks again Subaru Calgary

To anyone who read "Jays" comment,
you might enjoy this as well. I tend to research things... and I feel he went a tad too extreme... "Oil life monitors: Electronic sensors throughout the drivetrain send information about engine revolutions, temperature and driving time to the car's computer. The data is run through a mathematical algorithm that predicts when the oil will begin to degrade. The light comes on well in advance, giving the owner time to get the car serviced. For 2010 vehicles, 14 of 35 manufacturers use oil life monitoring systems. If your car has an oil life monitoring system, read your owner's manual to get a feel for how it's going to communicate with you. Do-it-yourselfers can easily do the reset, too, just by using a series of commands found in the owner's manual" <--- this is information as taken from www.edmonds.com under "car-care". *** That DOES sound like a bigger cost?more equipment...i think your rep may have had a point! I service w/Subaru Calgary and I appreciate their willingness to keep me informed on my car and steer me in the right direction. (I don't believe in blaming someone else if I don't know something because I haven't looked into it.) They have a newer manager since I was last in, but the old one was there for years. Still, I see them constantly trying to make my experience better. If they told me what I needed to know can be found in my owners manual, I'd really appreciate it. Heck, some car companies aren't giving out manuals but are giving owners DISKS. (Personally not a fan but I wont trash someone for something I don't like) I've been to a few other places before I found Calgary Subaru and there is a reason I enjoy going back to them. To Subaru Calgary, keep it up! I like what you're doing!

Great place to by a car.
Being in sales myself, I get what they were trying to do but I wanted what I wanted. I went to Subaru Calgary where I met Mike Bresett the Sales Manager. He explained why there was a shortage but if I was willing to wait a few weeks, he could order one, which is what we did. He was straight forward through the whole process and made things easy. When my car arrived it, he had a sales person by the name of Simon go through the car with me. Simon was great as he had good knowledge of the car and made sure I knew everything before I left. Will definitely recommend to all my friends.

"Just picked up my new 2010 Subaru Forester from Dale MacIver. He was great to deal with and really knows his product. He made things easy as I haven't bought a new car in over 10 years and the whole staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel good about dealing there. If you want a Subaru, go see Dale!"

On December 15th 2010 my son was hit on the drivers side of his 2009 Subaru Impreza by a driver running a red light at 75 kilometers per hour. His car was pushed into a truck in the next lane that ended on the sidewalk.

The police and paramedics at the scene told my wife that when they arrived they did not expect to see anyone walk away from that car. We feel that we are very fortunate that my son was driving a Subaru. One of the comments my son made to us was that if he had been driving his previous car, his head would have hit the center pillar or window rather than the airbag.

My son has some severe bruising to his ribs but we know that his injuries could have been much worse or life threatening. Although we were not certain what the insurance company was going to do about our son's car, we went to see our Subaru dealer. We related the above story to our sales person, Dale MacIver.

Our son had his heart set on a particular car. Dale took it upon himself to secure the model that our son wanted with no commitment from us. Because of Dale's commitment to service our son was in his new Subaru, feeling safe and secure, and weeks faster than what would have happened under normal circumstances.

We cannot thank Dale enough for his commitment to us as customers. Subaru has a great product and Dale is a great representative for your Company. I am currently waiting for delivery of my new Forester, this will be the 6th Subaru for us since 2005.

I just bought a new Subaru Outback from Subaru Calgary. I have had Subaru's before but this was my first time buying from Subaru Calgary and it was Great! My sales person was Drew Bell and I highly recommend him. He knew his product and was not pushy at all. My biggest beef with other dealers was not spending enough time going through the vehicle, but Drew made sure I knew the vehicle inside and out before I left. Mike the manager even came out after Drew was done to make sure everything went well which was nice as well. I would without question recommend these guys if you're looking for a Subaru. Great place to by a car.
